The Bulldog Hotel

Incredible location, very central.

Pros: Excellent location. Ski in ski out and right in the centre of the village. Very friendly staff. Hot tub was small but delightfully warm. Really appreciated how dog friendly they were.

Cons: Felt it was unusual to have a hotel of this size without a 24hour front desk. Bathroom didn't drain amazingly and would have liked more pillow options (thinner pillows).

So many incredible core memories created for our children (and us) and the Bulldog played a large role in that.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, the location was a 10/10, and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day on the beautiful mountain. The room was comfy and warm.

Pros: The location is ideal with convenient parking and a good restaurant

Cons: Sound proofing isn't great

Pros: The staff are the best. Silver Star is an amazing place. The natural splendor and great trails are the best things about it, but the bulldog is a close second.

Cons: That we only stayed a week.

Good value for a central location with a friendly staff.

Pros: Front line staff extremely helpful and friendly. I did an early check-in and was able to leave my suitcase with the hotel after checkout while I waited for a late departure to the airport. Fabulous central location.

Cons: The property is a little dated, but the location and staff make this good value for the money.

Old but Good

Pros: The location was good The Food in the Grand Cafe was excellent Staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons: The Hotel is not new but for the price I would stay again

Excellent base for a week skiing.

Pros: Really central to resort, slopes, lifts, bars and restaurants. Lift pass and ski hire within 50 metres. Very comfortable large bed, great shower and although decor a little dated it’s a minor issue. No breakfast in hotel but available within 3 minutes walk at a couple of cafes.

Pros: Great location, super quiet at night and unit was very spacious

Pros: Cheapest place to stay on a mountain, which is super convenient when travelling on a budget. Staff were all lovey, bed was comfy and room was well sized.

Cons: Didn't have a shower curtain in my bathroom? And the ledge on my window was broken and nearly falling off, but other than that everything seemed okay. Would stay again

Fantastic location and charming old style inn.

Pros: No breakfast was available and the room was too small to prepare any food. However the location was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hot spa right outside the front with a view of the village street was fun if you like to see whats happening and whos passing by. Not good if you value privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Breakfast would have been nice and a guest lounge and games room with cooking facilities would make this a perfect place to stay.
