Otter Hotel

Pros: Very new and modern. Thoughtful design. Hot tub is awesome with stunning views. Parking was easy and convenient. Good restaurants around! Amazing stay.

Cons: Elevator was slow

Pros: The outdoor hot tub is spacious, and the sauna is fantastic! Both offer amazing mountain views. The room is also very nice and comfortable. The indoor parking is great, very easy to access and park!

Lovely winter stay

Pros: Staff always friendly and helpful Only used good folk once but had a delicious breakfast there and would definitely recommend Hot pools were lovely, great view and clean Good location-further from town but first on and off the ski bus is ideal in winter (and town is not far) Room was spacious clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage, which was nice for a hotel Lovely system for tea and coffee daily Ability to fill up ice whenever was lovely Drinks and toiletries were mainly local products and felt like an extra little treat We had a lovely time and very much hope to return!

Cons: The hotel was not full while we were there, I can imagine if it was the pool area would be very overcrowded We managed to upgrade to a 'superior' room for next to nothing last minute, as far as we could tell the only difference was a mountain view. Well, we looked mainly onto other rooms with just the very top of cascade visible if you stood in the corner of the room, I certainly don't think this can be called a mountain view and if we had paid more for it would have been very dissapointed. The padlocks on the ski lockers are a nightmare, we left the room 15 mins early every day to make sure we didn't miss the ski bus trying to get the locker open and then ended up just not using them A couple more veggie options in good folk on the evening menu would have made us more likely to return The sauna was usually only around 60 degrees, fortunately the hot pools more than made up for it

Pros: The breakfast at the restaurant was amazing, friendly staff and amazing views.

Cons: The only issue was the tv on the side wall. Cannot be seen from the bed.

Most beautiful experience - must try the hot tub!

Cons: Reception staff were frustrated by my asking for clarification on check-in procedures Which just made them speak more quickly - making it harder to understand

Pros: Comfortable walk to town. Great to have free bus. Staff very helpful

Cons: The air con was very noisy & couldn't be turned off. Was annoying at night

Great location and facilities

Pros: The rooms were modern and fresh. The bar & foid area was excellent. The hot spa was fabulous after a long day skiing and plenty of room.

a modern new hotel with great amenities, still with some things to improve

Pros: it was an absolutely wonderful experience. a beautiful room with a mountain view, friendly front desk staff, and excellent cleanliness. our dining experience at the restaurant was lovely as well, everything tasted incredible. the hot springs and sauna also left only positive impressions; there were not too many people, so everyone could feel comfortable and relaxed.

Cons: the only downside was the heating system. when paying a significant amount for the room, you expect a more advanced heating setup. it was -20 outside, so we had to keep it running constantly, as the room became cold very quickly when it was turned off. the system was quite noisy, which caused me to sleep poorly throughout the night while trying to tune it out. my boyfriend also got sick shortly after the trip, likely due to the strong airflow blowing directly toward the bed with no option to change its direction.

Not only is the hotel fabulous but the restaurant was one of the best we have been to .

Pros: Friendly staff, fresh and clean, fabulous hot pools and sauna on the terrace and a fabulous restaurant

Lovely modern hotel with everything we needed

Pros: We booked super last minute as our original booked accommodation turned out to be a building site. Turned out to be the best decision, as our stay at The Otter Hotel was great. Super comfy huge bed, great shower, big room, staff were lovely and super helpful. The free bus pass was great, we used it most times we went into town, although it wasn't actually a long walk, around 20mins, but it was freezing and icy when we were there. Hot tubs, a great restaurant and bar, and laundry facilities which was great.

Cons: Real cutlery/ spoons for the tea and coffee would have been better.
