A beautiful, clean historic and warm stay.

Pros: We loved the decor, the room - it had a fireplace, which wasn’t in the description, so that was a great surprise. We stayed in Rendezvous on the top floor. It has a big comfortable bed and a jacuzzi tub big enough for 2 people. Everything was very clean. We were able to check in early. We had free parking. The breakfast was AMAZING and it was served at the table. All of it was fresh and warm and delicious. This is in my top 2 places I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was great. One night was not long enough to enjoy this place.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. I wanted to move in!

This was our second time at the Amethyst and we will definitely stay there again!

Pros: Beautiful heritage setting. On-site free parking. Wonderful breakfast!

Cons: Unfortunately the cleaning staff must have forgotten to remove the dirty towels from previous occupants and replace with new, as well as provide new complimentary bath products. Obviously an oversight. New towels were brought to our room within minutes of a call to the front desk.

Pros: Fabulous room with comfy bed and huge shower, beautiful heritage mansion in a good location (upper Fort) and the breakfast was superb! Berries and yogurt, fresh baked muffins, Eggs Benny with eggs cooked to perfection (many restaurants can't pull off properly poached eggs). Also ample on site parking.

Pros: Aesthetically amazing! Loved our little room down the side!

Cons: Would have loved a full shower, but can understand that was not possible.

Pros: The interior is in the style of an ancient castle or museum. The hotel is very beautiful! I really liked the breakfast: the waiter's service and the healthy menu! Very nice breakfast room! I recommend the hotel!
