Had a wonderful stay!

Pros: Cathy, the hostess, was lovely - very warm and welcoming! The breakfast was exceptional - delicious, beautifully plated, in a lovely setting! We also really enjoyed the library sitting room and the beautiful garden.

Cons: Just wished we could have stayed longer.

Pros: The property is beautiful and historic. Our room was cozy and we had a fire in the fireplace. The breakfasts were wonderful. The staff was excellent without being intrusive. I loved the little fridge freezer in our room as I had ice packs I use to treat a physical condition.

Great and beautiful place

Pros: Beautiful old building with very characteristic rooms. Our bedroom was very big, clean and comfortable. Staff was also very kind. Breakfast was not classic but very nice (kind of set menu). ca 25 min walk from Victoria center.

We loved it and were very pleased with our choice of accommodation during our brief visit to Victoria, which is fabulous

Pros: Quirky, quiet and homely and in nice area. Ideal for exploring Victoria and walking the neighbourhood. Very comfy and clean.

Cons: One slight downside - a beautiful breakfast was offered each day (we stayed 3 nights) but it would have been nice to have a choice of what you could have. The food was delicious, but maybe a little over-fussy.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect to walk anywhere we wanted to go, the breakfasts were delicious, and Cathy and her team were very friendly and accommodating. The house is just beautiful. We have been recommending the bed and breakfast to everyone we know. We will definitely be back when we come back to Victoria.

A happy combination of history and hospitality!

Pros: Beaconsfield Inn is a wonderful Heritage building that operates as a B&B with great respect given to its former heyday. We loved the decor, the wooden furniture, the library of old books, and even the china teacups! Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. The owner and the friendly staff are trying hard to preserve this beautiful old building, and we are more than happy to support them!

Cons: There was nothing we disliked about our stay here.
