Motel 6-Cranbrook

Pros: Rooms were very nicely renovated. Staff was very nice. Location was excellent.

Cons: Kuerig coffee machine did not work, and leaked every whete. Bathroim doir did not clise all the way.

Will stay here again when in town.

Pros: Friendly staff, no non-sense booking and accomodation.

A comfortable

Pros: We had kitchen facilities which had all the necessary furnishings.

Cons: No towel hooks in bathroom.

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Liked the two separate bedrooms.

Pros: Everything was new, modern and comfortable, especially new mattresses.

Pros: I have stayed here many times over the years, always a pleasant stay. The front desk staff is always very welcoming.

Cons: Sad to say, breakfast is no longer offered.

A great stay for a motel

Pros: The staff were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Until this point in my life I have underestimated how impactful that is on your stay. A face value this is a better than average motel, but the staff make it better than the property itself. A difficult thing to achieve consistently for each guest day on day.

Cons: Fundamentally motels are cheap and convenient for a reason. This is a high quality motel compared to others I've frequented.

Excellent value

Pros: 3 night stay and Value for money is spot on. It's a slightly better than basic room and the renovations make is a lot more modern. Room Sizes are better than many budget friendly places I've stayed in. I got an upgrade to a room with a kitchenette and I was expecting just a basic counter, microwave and coffee maker etc. I was pleasantly surprised it was a fully stocked kitchen with cooker top, pans, pots, toaster, crockery cutlery and all the needs to make a meal. Also a sink for washing dishes and the soap and cleaning materials were included. Washroom was decently sized and plenty of hot water and fresh towels every day, despite me being OK with reusing a towel for a day or two. Overall I'd recommend this place for convenience and pricing. It's really great value and you get more than you expect. Walking distance to most eating places and even the main mall is a block or two away.

Cons: I can't really complain about it, but it should be mentioned. Like most hotels in Cranbrook, it's on the main 4 lane road through town, so it gets busy and noisy. Even the more expensive hotels are located on this main road and will have some degree of road noise.
