Pros: Great stay! Clean, comfy, modern. Great view and spacious rooms and well equipped kitchenette. Fantastic location. 15 minute walk to down and great view over the lake and mountains

Cons: Only downfall is it is right on the train line and it is loud. But only once during the night!

Well worth it! Great stay in Nelson.

Pros: Super nice staff. I checked in a little early and was granted a late checkout, as I had an appointment nearby and nowhere to go in the meantime. Hotel was a bit far from downtown. I was planning on walking which would have been enjoyable: I had tickets for a show. But the rain was heavy. Front desk called me a cab and told me about a late night pizza spot. A great place named, Beauties. I was also informed I could use the pool and hot tub at their near by location. Which is the premiere version of the hotel. I didn't utilize this as it was a one night stay but would consider it for longer trips. Great stay.

Cons: Slightly dated room with an older bed. Very clean but slightly uncomfortable. Train rolled by and was a bit noisy. Parking seems limited. No elevator. None of these affected my great stay but potentially could be factors for unpleasantness for an for older couple or the les mobile.

Nelson by the train and lake and mountains

Pros: Lovely, comfortable beds. Everything was just right. And the trains passing was zero bother. Beautiful view of the mountain and lake. Excellent setting.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Front desk staff very cheerful. Clean rooms. Close to park which is a great walk.

Cons: There is an elevator but other than the first floor you have to go up or down a few steps to get to the room. Parking spaces are a bit narrow and if you come in late may be hard to get. Could use a bit more light in the room as it is not light enough to read.
