Friendly, comfortable and good value.

Pros: The location is amazing - view over the water, and The Shipyards, and right above Lonsdale Market. Easy access to the market, the Seabus and the lovely Shipyards area. Really comfortable bed!

Cons: This is an old hotel in need of refurb, and the new owners are going to have to work hard to bring it up to date. The heating and cooling system is noisy, the bathroom is old, and the furniture has seen better days.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. We love being right on the quay.

Pros: You can't beat the convenience. And the views are stellar! The rooms are a good size and the renovations will be a big bonus! Staff is wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us.

Cons: It's definitely dated. We read that it is scheduled to be renovated and that will be great!

This is a great place to stay on the North Shore if you are traveling by public transportation.

Pros: We particularly liked the proximity to the seabus and busses and to the stores and restaurants at the Quay. We appreciated being upgraded to a room with a view of the harbor.

Comfortable room in a fantastic location

Pros: The location is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and the daily housekeeping was very good. My room was very clean. The hotel is also very quiet which is a pleasant surprise given it's location. The bed was comfortable and there were different kinds of pillows on the bed.

Cons: The towels were small. It would be nice to have at least one bath sheet size towel. I would have also liked to have teaspoons in the room as opposed to the stick stirrers.

Pros: We had 2 x stays at the hotel, first was in a vasic room 2nd in the suite. The room was okay, tired, and needed decorating, hallways, and lights very dark too. The 2nd stay in the suite, the room was freshly decorated and the views amazing but the windows were dirty so spoiled the look. Also, the paint was chipped off the bedside cabinet, and the sale was dated, the air conditioning units large and old. For the price of the room I was disappointed not to have a bottle of water provided.

Cons: The staff, had a new system, was struggling to work it but very friendly and helpful
