Pros: Huge room with full kitchen. Comfy beds. Beautiful area for walking & shops near by.
Cons: Carpet looked dirty & and dining chairs stained. Pull out uncomfortable so couldn't sleep on it. Luckily I'm short so just made a bed on the couch, otherwise a decent stay.

Pros: It was great to be on campus so we could be nearby the UBC Hospital for an early morning appointment. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were nice. There was a free breakfast included but we didn't go due to time constraints.
Cons: I felt the price was a little high.

UBC Carey Hall was an exciting place to stay during our Vancouver trip, and was a unique experience.
Pros: The Check-In & Out process was very easy and accessible. The room was clean and in an ideal location. The location was peaceful and fun to explore the university campus. The breakfast was a highlight.
Cons: The elevator went out the day we moved in, and then it wasn't back up for another 24 hours. We found a water bottle in the room that didn't belong to us, so cleaning could be upgraded slightly. It would have been nice to know that the building is a theology building, so there was a lot of religious symbolism and paperwork around.

Pros: This hotel offers a wonderfully quiet environment with well-maintained facilities. While it doesn't boast the opulence of a luxury hotel, it has a charming simplicity that reminded me fondly of a student dormitory. Despite its modest nature, it provided everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Basic amenities and coffee machine was available, and I particularly appreciated the convenience of having a washing machine and dryer on-site. It was also great to be able to refill my water bottle when the water dispenser was accessible. Breakfast was nice, which provided a satisfying start to the day with freshly fried eggs plus sausages, and bacon. The bed and bathroom were clean, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic experience. Although there wasn't air conditioning, the provided fan kept the room comfortable on warmer days. The refrigerator and the cable TV, complete with Disney Channel, were thoughtful additions that my daughter especially enjoyed.
Cons: If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be regarding the water dispenser. Consistent and unlimited access would have been greatly beneficial, as it was occasionally inaccessible or not refilled, which proved a minor inconvenience. Additionally, it's worth noting that shops are not within immediate walking distance, and both vending machines and the water dispenser had limited hours. Lastly, do remember to bring coins for the laundry facilities.

Peaceful stay in a beautiful setting
Pros: This was a great spot to stay! Quiet, and serene setting on the beautiful UBC campus. Rooms were easy to access with the code system. Amazing running trails and beaches minures away, and still eniugh restaurants and other ammenities on campus to make it convenient.
Cons: Self serve check in kiosks didnt really work, but everything else went smoithly. The roons got a bit hot without air conditioning.

Good place to stay
Pros: Location, affordability, breakfast included, decent room.
Cons: No front desk staff in the evening and overnight. Check in is with a code, not a card. If there are any complications with your after-hours check-in, then there is nobody to help you.
