English Bay Hotel

The most affordable, comfortable and secure place you will stay in English Bay.

Pros: I've stayed here several times and it's always been great. It's quirky, quite vintage, but for the price it's the best in the area. Views over English Bay, always quiet despite being in the heart of everything there, very helpful staff and secure, gated parking with 24hr access. It is slightly dated, especially with the ovens supplied (2 stove tops didn't work and I stayed in a few different rooms and each room had different applicances or kitchen gadgets), however - again - for the price I would highly recommend as if I needed anything and asked they would always really try and help.

Cons: Some stains on mattresses and dated appliances and building, but for the cost it's for sure worth it.

Pros: Spacious room in a great location! Stay were great and upgraded us for the last night!

Cons: Windows were thin so it was a bit noisy

I would book here again.

Pros: Staff was friendly and location was good if you are going to a concert at Rogers Arena or the aquarium.

Cons: That if you drive a truck you may not be able to use the underground parking they have.

Lovely hotel near beach and cafes

Pros: Close to the beach and has a kitchenette and stove which is great for self catering. Comfortable beds.

Cons: Be careful of the very slippery bath/shower. Needs a rubber matt to prevent slipping over.

Pros: Excellent location, easy to get to Stanley Park, hire a bike easily nearby.. many places very handy for food and drink. Has a very multi cultural vibe.

Cons: The rooms and decor are very tired and we had a couple of small issues with items in-room but they were fixed rapidly. Rooms were very clean. AIRCON and curtains not set up very well aircon behind curtains at nite when trying to cool room.

Pros: The hotel location is perfect for the beaches and Stanley Island. Plenty of entertainment, restaurants and bars close by. Added advantage of secure, onside car parking.

Cons: The hotel is very dated. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a single-glazed room! Bath towels could be bigger, but, for the price, it is a excellent deal.

Pros: Excellent location . Close to Beach and restaurants. Clean room ,Air-conditioned but room facilities needs updating .

Pros: I was impressed with this hotel. It does look kind of old fashioned inside but it was great value for money and it had everything we needed and more. We had the junior suite, it, was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff (front desk (day and night) and cleaner) were really helpful and friendly. We had to extend our stay and they accommodated us in the same room. Lots of food outlets on the same road and the English Bay beach too. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: It provided what we needed, place to stay, hot shower, clean bedding. Wasn't anything fancy, outdated but comfy and convient. Location is great.
