Banff Ptarmigan Inn

Overall, a really lovely place to stay and I will not hesitate to stay there again!

Pros: Great location, good access to public transport, friendly staff!

Cons: Unfortunately, the kettle and cups provided in the room were dusty. I also wished they provided at least bottles of water for tea & coffee. However, remaining facilities were adequate.

Great spot for a Banff holiday

Pros: Staff were accommodating to our needs. Great location. Showing its age, but good value for money.

Cons: No laundry facilities on site. I had to go to the hotel next door to access the washer and dryer.

Had a great weekend!

Pros: Perfect location right on the main drag of town, was able to walk to shops and restaurants no problem, and transit station was right in front of Inn.

Cons: Everything was great!

Pros: Great location. Nice hot tubs, and saunas. Friendly staff. Very clean facility. Free shuttle right out front to Lake Louise resort.

Cons: No microwave in room.

Comfort and Location

Pros: Room was exceptionally comfortable and location was very central.

Cons: Restaurant closes too early. Quality of food...I would eat somewhere else next time. Front desk staff could be more friendly and helpdul...we were never informed on hotel amenities or times.

Super clean

Pros: Super clean . Friendly stuff. Lots of lights in the room ✨️

Amazing and value for money

Pros: The spa was a good set up. The room was good with room to move. Staff were very happy to help with information at check in which meant that there was a confidence in decisions made around the utilities of the facility.

Cons: Well I'm sad to say that the bubbles in the spa didn't seem to be working as we were unable to get them working. The position of the heating in our room - under the window - meant that the fan which was far too loud was blowing on the person in the bed closest to the window. This was unacceptable.

Pros: Great location, freindly helpful staff and restraunt food was very yummy . Comfortable beds.

Cons: The spas were not operating properly which was disappointing after a long day out trekking in the snow. And room needs a bit of updating and refreshing, pictures needed dusting.

Pros: Beautiful hotel in the heart of Banff village right on the main strip, nicely situated for easy access to shuttles and amenities.

Cons: Missed having a microwave in the room.

Family ski trip

Pros: Great location right in front of bus shuttle for the ski resorts. The lobby and decor are simple but accommodating. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a locker to leave our ski gear on the main level.

Cons: The rooms were very dark and didn't have enough lighting. They need upgraded lights and carpets.
