Best Western Plus Banff International Lodge

Pros: Big TV, comfortable bed, breakfast was included. Also, there was a swimming pool.

Pros: Included breakfast was really appreciated. Allowed us to focus on spending our time in our other activities.

Perfect affordable hotel

Pros: It has everything one needs for a ski trip: spacious rooms, balcony, ski lookers, big enough bathroom and it was quiet. The staff is the nicest I've seen by far for this type of hotel. The room was clean. Located on the main street, 10 minutes from the main restaurants and shops. The breakfast was good with enough selection (toast, pancakes, eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereals, oatmeals, jam, butter and of course coffee, juice, etc...)

Cons: I personally don't like AC since it is always blowing cold or warm air...

Revisiting Banff

Pros: The hotel appears to have been refreshed inside in the suites. Our room had a super tall ceiling and was well presented with modern furnishings and wall decor. Our unit had a large balcony overlooking Sulphur and Tunnel Mountains, also offering lots of sunlight. The included breakfast was great with a nice selection and a slight change each day. Staff were friendly and pleasant.

Cons: No real dislikes. The only concern sone people will have is the parking garage is tight and low. Our Tacoma with a 2 inch lift just made it inside with about 1 inch clearance. Otherwise, no things stood out for us that we didn't like.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to downtown Banff

Pros: The front desk staff is very accommodating and she has an excellent customer service.

Pros: I liked everything. The house is a very nice hotel. Very clean. Large, new and spacious rooms. There were five of us. Each room has a balcony. The breakfast is modest but good. Most importantly, everything is clean and smells good. the pool clean and hot.

Cons: Pool location.

Location was excellent - easy walk from shops and restaurants. Staff very efficient and helpful.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were a big plus. Really liked the the coffee and tea bar in the reception area. Good quality. We were on the first floor so worked really well for us.

Cons: The breakfast room got a bit crowded and not a lot of options for family seating. The breakfast was good (better than most breakfast included scenarios) but not great. Eggs appeared to be from a homogenised mix. I prefer a waffle station that allows you make your own waffle but I realise that with the size of breakfast bar that would have created flow problems. Really I'm just being nit picky here.

Pros: Great value for dollar on the private hot tub room, awesome views. Better than average breakfast buffet for the calibre of hotel. Comfortable beds.

Cons: Room was a little dirty - child's greasy finger prints on the TV screen, unpleasant smell in the room, and carpets were a little dirty. Definitely need slippers/slides.

Amazing and comfortable stay.

Pros: The breakfast was a plus! The rooms were quite spacious with a large TV and the cleanliness was great! The staff were very helpful and accommodated us for the two rooms we booked to be close to each other.

Cons: The pool was quite small.
