BEST WESTERN PLUS Carlton Plaza Hotel

Pros: - hotel is nice and clean; beds are comfy - we rented a suite with kitchenette and it was well stocked - staff was super nice and helpful - Valet parking allows you to drop your car right in front of the hotel and not worry about parking - location is excellent - would stay again

Cons: - parking is valet parking so you need to plan a little bit in advance during busy hours; that being said - valet staff and we appreciated all their help when we were running behind

Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely tell my friends

Pros: The staff were always friendly, helpful and provided the best service. My towels were always promptly replaced when asked, the valet service was very helpful when parking in the city. The ruby restuarant in the lobby was an excellent choice for breakfast.

A great place to stay to explore Victoria

Pros: The location of this hotel is great, the staff are amazing and the rooms are very large. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Pros: Clean spaces, pleasant and helpful staff. Felt safe.

Cons: Sadly unrelated to the hotel itself, the area around Douglas has become quite seedy with lots of homelessness and drugs right around the corner.

Pros: Larger room than expected with kitchen .Also enclosed balcony.

Pros: The rooms provided by this hotel are more spacious than expected. In addition, there is a simple kitchen with standard kitchen utensils and facilities that allow guests to do simple cooking. I like it very much and recommend it to other family guests.

Pros: Very clean, spacious, nice seating area in the room and in a good location.

Cons: Double beds were too small and soft.

Cons: Downtown Victoria...so beautiful. However, the homelessness & drug use in the area is out of control...so sad.

A great stay . In walking distance to restaurants, the harbour and other sights.

Pros: Great location, gym and staff were helpful. Cafe in the same building for breakfast.

Cons: It was a bit pricey but in a good location. We did hear the nightclub downstairs but ear plugs worked a treat.
