Athabasca Hotel

Comfortable and quiet.

Pros: The room was very clean and fresh. The view was excellent. It was very quiet for sleeping.

Cons: Nothing really. But because there isn't an elevator we could have used some help with our bags. It wasn't offered. Perhaps that might be something you can offer in the future.

Pros: Had an issue with the room, and Valerie (front desk) quickly corrected it, then Blair (manager) followed up, ensuring the stay was great. Kudos and thanks to you both. Excellent customer service - much appreciated!

Very good location.

Pros: Very nice room. We had a shared bathroom that was very large and clean. The room did have a large sink for a quick washup, but no coffee maker nor a/c.

Cons: We stayed at the Athabaska Hotel 7 Sept to 8 Sept. The lady at the reception desk was anything but friendly. It seemed like anything we asked upset her more, and she would reply with very short, snotty answers. The hotel however, was a very good value. She just left a very bad impression.

Excellent location and great parking options.

Pros: The room was clean and spacious with a window that opened and a fan.

Cons: Dragging my suitcase up two flights of stairs, although two very nice people helped me. Pedestrian noise on the street below was a bit loud late at night.

Pros: Very cute vintage hotel in the center of Jasper. Walking distance to the main street for food and shopping. Hotel and room were well maintained and clean. Free parking on the back. Wifi worked. Sink in the room. Nice staff.

Cons: There's only 1 shared bathroom/toilet per gender. Magnetic key card doesn't work when you put it together with the phone. (Which can easily be forgotten when you're going in an out of the room).

Clean, nice, friendly hotel

Pros: The front people are really nice. My mom is 82 year old. They helped us carry our luggage’s to the second floor. I requested the front desk people to switch a better view room. They did it for me. They were nice and polite. The hotel is very clean.

Pros: Me and my girlfriend stayed in a small cozy room with shared bathroom. Not too bad that I expected, everything was clean and we were lucky that it was not too busy. The staff is really nice and helpful as well. The big bonus is location!!

Cons: grab all my stuff without a lift. You can hear literally everything

Pros: We've stayed here before. Love it, but the next time I'll book a room with our own bathroom.

Affordable

Pros: Jasper is expensive in summer. This hotel is the cheapest in downtown because it is a shared bathroom and there is no elevator. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. I prefer to save money and I am satisfied all

Good central hotel with pool table and friendly staff

Pros: Very central, nice staff, enjoyed the food. Slept in room with shared bathroom which was a first for us, but not terrible if you’re on a budget- all super clean

Cons: Bit dated, but not terrible if you’re- just saying 🤷🏼‍♀️
