We had a lovely 3 day stay at The Kaslo Hotel. Exceeded our expectations!

Pros: The location of the Kaslo Hotel was well situated on the Main Street with a beautiful view of the lake. Our room was very spacious, well appointed with a veranda that overlooked Kootenay Lake. There is a very good restaurant on site as well. The staff (Frank) were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly recommend The Kaslo Hotel to others and hope to return ourselves sometime soon.

We had a warm welcome and a very pleasant stay in Kaslo.

Pros: Very pleasant room in this historic hotel. The restaurant served excellent food and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay!

Pros: Great location. Good restaurant; the patio was very nice. Great waitress.

Great place I would go back, I just wished the person checking us in was more helpful

Pros: Place was clean and the rooms very comfortable. The manager upon departure was great and helpful.

Cons: On arrival we identify a mistake (either from Booking.com or from the Hotel and one of our rooms had only 1 bed. I ask the receptionist if we could change and the answer was a hard NO since we did the booking through booking.com. This was despite having available rooms. I had no other option than to pay for another room (and she was ready to cancel the one I already paid!). The Hotel has no breakfast option (only brunch) and when I asked for advice on where to get an early breakfast was very unhelpful :-( .

Pros: Loved how large the room was and with 3 people it was nice to have the space.We enjoyed the deck outside our room and nice to sit back and people watch.

Cons: We were told by email that the hot tub was not in service and upon arrival we realized it was in service.Just one small disappointment
