Banff Inn

A solid stay that worked well for us.

Pros: The location was ideal in that it was far enough out of town to find free parking really easily, but not so far you couldn’t walk into town. The pizza restaurant was way better than expected.

Cons: The rooms were a tiny bit smaller than expected. They need to sort the breakfast situation out. Having to go to another hotel for an overpriced egg on toast is a bit ridiculous for a hotel trying to be taken seriously as more than a glorified motel. Certainly for the price.

Good option for family of 4

Pros: Loft room with three beds was good to accommodate family of 4. Heated secure carpark was great with ski gear

Pros: We did not expect to have a bonus bed for the three of us! It was great. Liked the room and the staff were helpful, kind and easy check in.

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved it there. It totally felt like a home

Cons: Oh, the TV isn't smart, and I didn't like that at all. I would have loved to log on to my Netflix or Peime Video and watch shows of my choice

Excellent

Pros: Clean and comfortable. Has that mountain feeling and decor. Spa and sauna available. Short 1km walk to the Banff townsite. Staff were great.

Cons: Nothing to report.

Basic, very overpriced for what you get

Pros: Comfy beds, located on the Main Street so able to walk to the centre easily.

Cons: The sauna, steam room and spa didn’t get hot enough, they were broken a few days during our week long stay there. The restaurant at the hotel was terrible and very expensive. No microwave in the room but you get a get a kettle, fridge and coffee machine. No Netflix ect on the TV which is so disappointing as after a long day snowboarding it would be nice to watch a movie at night.

The Hotel was awesome! The food crap!

Pros: The evening meal was unsatisfactory. Both servings of chips were very cold, and the service was notably slow. I requested water, and it took approximately 15 minutes to arrive, and only after we asked a second time. It was also brought by a different server. Additionally, there was an issue with the invoice. Based on this experience, I would not recommend.

Pros: We had to go out for breakfast 😞 I don’t sleep great and requested a quiet part of the hotel. The receptionist respected my request and accommodated me. We however didn’t receive direction where the elevator was or the hot tub and sauna. I would definitely recommend your hotel to friends.

Cons: Cigarette butts on the ground outside the hotel and the ashtrays make it look dirty.

I really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again

Pros: Perfect location, 10 minutes walk into town or abus stop right outside

Cons: No breakfast available in November
