Elegant Fairmont hotel centrally located

Pros: We were unexpectedly delighted with the Fairmont Palliser despite its grand size. It proved to be an elegant old fashioned hotel with beautiful spacious public and private rooms and bathrooms. We were upgraded to the gold floor where it became apparent that some people use the lounge facility instead of the restaurant. Filling large plates with snacks and then desserts with wine glasses filled to the brim with wine. All rather gross but if you can overlook the greed of some of the other guests it is a lovely facility and we took advantage of it for a pre dinner drink and breakfast as we were checking out early for a flight. Dinner at the Hawthorne was very good too.

Cons: Nothing. All very comfortable.

Would highly recommend to stay here if in Calgary!

Pros: Staff service was excellent. We had a very nice room on a high floor, therefore had access to the Gold Executive lounge. Our room was very spacious.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. We look forward to going back. Staff were great! Made our day extra special. We were allowed early check in. The hotel is an experience to see and stay.

Cons: Can't think of anything worth mentioning. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a wonderful one-night stay. I will have to come back another time for a longer stay.

Pros: During a business trip, I stayed at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary for one night and was very happy with the overall experience. The staff at the Palliser are fantastic. The concierge was extremely helpful when I asked him to print off my plane ticket for my trip back to Europe the next day. The room service was excellent, too. The bed was also very comfortable.

Superb.

Pros: Superb hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, and went over and above to ensure our stay was comfortable. Location is central, near the Calgary Tower. The building architecture in the lobby is stunning.

Cons: Only drawback is that the hotel is next to the railway track so beware train noise.

A great place overall, exceptional in its presentation.

Pros: This hotel is exceptional. It justifies the description “ premier address in Calgary “. I met a member of staff when I was walking in from the car park , the adjacent Calgary Tower Parkade , she was not so kind with her question- “ can I help you look for something ? “, this question could have been phrased better- May I assist you ? could have been way better. This slip notwithstanding, a remarkable place overall in my book.
