Pros: Location was excellent for walking to the hockey and downtown. Rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable.

Cons: Car parking was expensive and very frustrating needing to use the Calgary parking online tool to pay. This is a Calgary issue not really a hotel one though.

Pros: This hotel is just perfect! We had the absolute best stay here, and will stay again when visiting Calgary. The only one problem really is parking, street parking is not great and the parkade is expensive. Still worth it.

Good-value, newer, friendly property in a decent location.

Pros: Very nice, newer property with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Was fairly good value compared to other hotels in/near the downtown core.

Cons: Location is a little isolated from the rest of downtown, but it's only a 10 minute walk to get to the thick of it (and the C-train line). And Inglewood (great neighborhood for shops/restaurants) is not too far to walk to in the other direction. The immediate area doesn't have a lot of dining choices, but there is a fantastic bakery/coffee-shop across the street for breakfast. Directions given for parking in the adjoined (city-run) parkade were vague - make sure you understand where to find the machine (near lobby) to pay ($35 for 24 hours for hotel guests). Lighting controls in the room were annoying (all lights or no lights).

Punches above its weight with attention to detail

Pros: Rooms are small but perfectly planned with details like hooks and benches that are often absent in other/more expensive hotels. Love the location on the Bow River, which is especially pretty when it's snowing. The views are great. This was our second stay in 12 months and we have now seen it in sun and snow. The lounge and reception are warm and welcoming. Booth and pool table. Close to Canadian Superstore for groceries.

Cons: Light from the fridge shining all night - minor issue really. There are food options across the road, but they are quite expensive. Some dodgy looking folks in the area - maybe that's just Calgary.

Well Maintained with many buttons to press

Pros: Location was pretty good. Very well maintained facility. Everything controlled by control panels.

Cons: Parking not included. Pillows were feeling their age. Felt like rolled up socks stuffed into a bag. Could only watch a handful of channels. No option to log into Netflix etc.
