great hotel, area just okay

Pros: The building and rooms itself are great and the staff very friendly - even as a women solo-traveling I felt save.

Cons: The area is a bit weird. Whilst the hotel is situated only a few minutes from the city centre, there were a lot of weird people around which made me feel unsafe from time to time, even during the day at 10am....

Comfortable but could improve

Pros: Comfortable good size room. Staff friendly and helpful

Cons: Noisy air conditioner. Had to turn off to sleep. Paper cups. Coffee tea machine that produced lukewarm pale water when I tried to make tea. No milk. I bought teabags and used the microwave.

Convenient location

Pros: Excellent location for a one night stay in Calgary. Secure parking on site. Very nice comfortable rooms. Super breakfast. Reception staff were very helpful with good suggestions for a walk along the river and key places to visit downtown.
